Rooted in the heart of the Rockies, Rocky Mountain Ceramics creates functional earthenware pottery shaped by the movements, textures, and quiet energies of the natural world. For over three years, our ceramicist Doug has been crafting pieces that feel grounded and intentional—mugs that warm the hands, bowls that invite daily ritual, and forms that echo stone, water, and shifting mountain light.

Each piece is made in small batches, thoughtfully thrown and finished to bring a sense of ease and connection into everyday life. Recently, subtle design and graphic details have been added in collaboration with his partner, Stew, enriching the work and expanding Rocky Mountain Ceramics’ creative horizons.

We aim to offer pottery that feels lived-in, elemental, and deeply tied to the land we call home.
